2024 Preseason NFL Bets
Estimated 2 minute read
The NFL season is upon us! Time to look at my favorite props for the upcoming season. We’ll check back in at the end of the season.
All Odds from Hard Rock Bet
Tennessee Titans over 6.5 wins (+110)
I picked Tyjae Spears and Will Levis as fantasy players I like, so I had to put my money where my mouth is with their anticipated improvement.
Dak Prescott player to record most passing yards (+650) and Dak Prescott over 4150.5 passing yards (+105)
The Cowboys’s running game figures to be suspect, giving Prescott ample chances to air out the football. Adding to my confidence in those choices is Dak’s consistent durability, only missing significant time once (2020).
Russell Wilson under 2750.5 passing yards (-110)
I don’t have faith that Russell will play the entire season, with the Steelers potentially handing the reigns to Fields after he can’t play enough snaps to upgrade the pick they sent to Chicago.
Detroit Lions vs Kansas City Chiefs in SB 59 (+2500)
I’m extremely high on the Lions this season. They play in a tough defense with a division winner schedule but return all of their core. The Lions are excited about the growth of receiving threats Jameson Williams and Sam LaPorta, as well as improvement up front on defense by signing Marcus Davenport. Rookie Terrion Arnold is a new starter out wide on defense along with Carlton Davis. This is a team that was agonizingly close to the Super Bowl last year. The Chiefs resigned Chris Jones and added to their receiving corps, keeping their defense anchored and improving a weakness from last year’s Super Bowl wining team. At +2500 I had to take it.
Jayden Daniels to win Offensive Rookie of the Year (+575)
I think Caleb Williams is the better prospect, a near certain superstar in my mind. Jayden Daniels will make a few unbelievable athletic splash plays that will be repeat all season and the Commanders will have a better improvement to their record. The Week 8 duel between Williams and Daniels will be key to this race.
Dallas Turner to win Defensive Rookie of the Year (+375)
The 2024 Draft saw a historic run on offensive players. Turner enters the league ready to compete athletically and with the chance to nab a couple sacks against Caleb Williams, Brock Purdy, and Aaron Rodgers, highlights that will boost his profile.
